Expert travel writer:
Nicola Iseard
About
Nicola’s career began in London where she worked on the travel desks of The Times, The Observer, The Guardian and Daily Express, with assignments ranging from Tanzania to Tasmania. A passionate skier, in 2010 she took on the role of Editor of Fall-Line Skiing magazine, where she still works today, alongside editing Ski+board magazine and freelance travel writing for various international publications.
Background
Nicola’s first ski trip at age four set her on a path that would dominate her life, seeing her race internationally as a teenager, qualify as a BASI ski instructor, teach in Switzerland, ski in destinations from Russia to Revelstoke, and ultimately move to the Portes du Soleil and become the editor of two ski publications.
An avid writer (graduating with a First-class degree in English and Creative Writing), travel journalism was her dream job, allowing her to write and travel for a living.
On the bucket list
To spot ring-tailed lemurs and chameleons in Madagascar, to ski epic powder in Furano, Japan, and to kayak with blue whales in the St. Lawrence Marine Park, Québec.
