Nicola’s career has taken her from the jungles of Southern Mexico to teaching English in Japan and working in some of the world’s best hotels.
A travel writer and copywriter, her work is featured in CNN Travel, Condé Nast Traveller, Departures International, Travel + Leisure, The Times and more. She writes about a wide variety of destinations but with a key focus on the country she currently calls home, the United Arab Emirates.
Nicola has made Dubai home for the past seven years and travels extensively throughout the region. She’s been recognised as an expert curator by Dubai Tourism for her knowledge of the destination.
Background
Nicola grew up with a love of travel, fed by family holidays and hours spent poring over maps and her globe. She has lived in Mexico, Japan, Hong Kong and Thailand, and currently makes the United Arab Emirates home.A self-confessed Dubai convert, she wasn’t a fan of the city before moving here but soon found much to love. From food to art to culture via exploration of the UAE’s desert, coast and mountains, she always finds something new to discover.
