Background
After graduating from university and taking a mostly-solo six month trip through Australia, New Zealand, and Thailand Laura decided to give travel writing a go. Through a ton of persistence and a penchant for creative ideas, she’s made a living at it.
Laura considers herself a ‘writer who loves to travel’. This being said, she’s been to all seven continents, harvesting olives in Italy, building a mudbrick classroom in Australia, and tracking elephants on foot in Ghana.
Although she resides in San Francisco, her ‘pretty city’, she gets back to the U.S. East Coast as much as possible between travel to see family.
