Anthony Lambert

Anthony’s first book was published while still at university and he has been writing about travel and railways ever since, contributing articles to over 50 publications and winning various awards.

Documentary evidence for Anthony’s love of railways starts at age two, but the desire to travel grew from the first trip outside Europe while at university.

Much of Anthony’s writing is aimed at persuading tourists to use greener modes of travel – walking, cycling and public transport. The love of Switzerland came from his parents, and of Canada from his Albertan wife!
