Anna started out as a freelance travel writer for Time Out Paris before moving to Frommer’s as their France/Paris guidebook author. Over the last few years, she has written for the Times, Sunday Times Travel magazine (where she was the Paris expert), Financial Times and Google, working on their online travel content. She has also updated numerous guidebooks to Paris and France for Dorling & Kindersley.

Anna’s love of France began on a family camping holiday in Brittany age 13. Then, while studying French at University, she moved to Paris for her gap year and never looked back. She has now lived in Paris for 20 years and frequently travels the length and breadth of the country.

To horse ride in the Camargue salt flats like a cowboy, to see the Northern Lights dance over Iceland, to watch the sun set over the Venetian Lagoon, and to observe migratory birds in Zimbabwe’s Hwange National Park.
