Amar Grover

Amar’s first newspaper feature – on Uzbekistan – appeared in the Times over twenty years ago. Since then he has contributed features to most of the UK’s broadsheets, quality travel magazines and the National (Abu Dhabi). He has also provided content, copywriting and editing services to several UK tour operators for brochures and marketing materials.

Amar grew up in Hong Kong and early childhood visits to India primed his interest, if not obsession, with the Subcontinent and surrounding regions.

Since the late 1980s he’s regularly been delving into its nooks and crannies, constantly amazed and delighted by its intriguing culture, stunning monuments and fascinating history.
