Our walk begins with a pleasant stroll along the coast before exploring the winding streets of the Castle and the walled fortresses of the ruling Dukes. You’ll pass loggias and the coats of arms of the Dukes, which are still visible on the marble doorways. From the noble quarters of the Medieval palace, we stroll down to the vibrancy of the Old Town with colourful shops, bars and taverns. Along the way, we stop at picture-perfect settings offering amazing views, for photography. As we reach the waterfront, glimmers of light reflect the awesome myth of the Minotaur of Crete and marriage of Ariadne with the god Dionysus on the island.
