One Ski Hill Place has a prime position in Breckenridge, located just steps from the base of Peak 8, with direct access to four chairlifts and the gondola into town. It strikes an impressive balance of being luxurious and yet wholly family-friendly at the same time.
Parents can relax in the grand lobby with its three-sided fireplace and sink-into sofas, or have a treatment at the plush spa. Meanwhile, teens can retreat to the games room or movie lounge, or go bowling at the mine shaft-themed bowling alley (designed after the historic mining shafts found in the Breckenridge area).
There are also two indoor pools – including a shallow, jet-enhanced kids’ splash pool – and an outdoor hot tub.
About the resort
The lively Colorado resort of Breckenridge boasts a cute Victorian main street buzzing with Alpine-quality bars and restaurants. Up on the slopes, there’s something for everyone; both beginners and intermediates are in their element on Breckenridge’s plethora of easy-going blues and greens.
Meanwhile, freestylers think they have died and gone to kicker heaven with its fantastic terrain parks – Freeway is one of the best parks in North America. Breckenridge also has dedicated family trails, marked with yellow diagonal lines.
