The lodge keeps environmental impact to a minimum: recycling, running on renewable energy and gathering fallen wood to maintain and build cabins.

Sitting over El Matapalo surf beach with its back to Corcovado National Park – one of the country’s most extensive stretches of protected tropical forest – El Remanso is immersed in nature.
