Chateau de Beauvois

Last updated: 15 November, 2022

A 15th-century tower, 17th-century manor, and cellars carved into the bedrock, make up the stunning Chateau de Beauvois, niched in woodland north of the Loire.

It has 36 gorgeously rustic rooms with furnishings varying from pseudo-medieval to Louis XV, and an inventive restaurant, with a grand dining room for winter stays, and a lovely terraced garden in summer.

As a special treat, the hotel can organise special dinners for 6 to 12 people in its troglodyte wine cellars, and also puts on wine tastings.

Then there are 140 hectares of beautiful, wooded grounds to explore, on foot or by bike.

Surrounding area

The Chateau is located on a hillside above the village of Luynes, north-west of Tours.

The lake and woodland grounds give the chateau a secluded feeling, yet it’s right in the heart of the Loire Valley

The chateaux of Luynes, Langeais, Villandry, Usse and Azay-le-Rideau are all an easy drive.
